So Artificer and Tobus, do you think a black belt and Sam Brown buckle would be OK with an Argyle (I kinda think not but... maybe)? Better for day, I think. And Rondo, very nice... very nice indeed.

Honestly I'm not a great wearer of the belt. But there are times I think it helps with the transition between the kilt and shirt. I'm mostly a waistcoat guy. Right now, if you were to ask me, I'd say I really don't know where this is going to go. Sam Brown'ish or traditional kilt belt designed for wait plate.

What are others doing?

I've also seen some nice round buckles with various celtic designs. Does the rabble think they would do day OK?
