Thoughts on Studying Tartan
I'm kind of frustrated with the way this topic is covered on the web. The Scottish Tartan Authority site is a great resource, but I find the database cumbersome. I want to be able to compare tartans and I feel like the technology should help. I have Scarlett's Clans and Tartans and I'm regularly check out other books from the library, but bound books don't let me do what I want either.
I'm starting to put together a notebook on my iPad in Evernote, which I've needed an excuse to learn for awhile now. I'm copying Setts from the STA site and pasting them into Evernote pages tagged by theme.
Any suggestions?
