eh..yanked the serger back apart...a task I am becoming adept at....the motor itself is sound, but the armature sectors are sort of burly...but they ate the carbons...found a motor of the same frame on Ebay..so I will probably order that this week.
Found a Singer Ultralock 14 at a consignment shop this week for twenty five bucks...it is in need of cleaning and oiling but appears to throw a good stitch....<G> I am the chosen one. lol.
I pulled the antique singer we got along with the serger out and plugged it in..needs cleaning and oiling, but works fine...even the light. Scored me some herringbone tweed the other day..seems to be a nice PV...six yards off the remnant table at Hancocks...I sooo cannot decide what to make...maybe a four yard box and balmoral..but thennnnnn..maaaayyybe a six yard tank...eh...crap.
