    I have a denim one which isn't a tartan, but it's nice to be different I get comments like 'nice skirt' from those deliberately trying to provoke a response, but am tired of saying 'its a kilt', which then brings the "You aren't Scottish" conversation (actually my surname is Ferguson) but I just say 'thanks'... when they get no reaction, they move on. I have quite a few, I should wear them more often, but I have been busy with work. A lot do like the kilt...

    ...especially a Caledonian one worn with something bright. It felt good to stand out in a sea of black tuxedos at a recent Ball
