Welcome aboard!
For what it's worth I like a bit of that wave in the horsehair, but if you want to help with the bushiness then working some "Cowboy Magic" through the hair on your brush or horse comb will help restore gloss and sleekness.
One note for those who don't know, when combing horsehair it's always a good idea to use your hand to put some pressure on the stitches that hold the hair in place to help minimize the strain and stress on the attachment.
