Incidentally, it was also my first time wearing a wool kilt out and about. When we invested in the Angus, we agreed it would be for special occasions, but I was surprised at how warm the wool was, without making me sweat--and heavy enough to avoid making a scene in the heavy lake wind. I'm definitely going to pick up another wool for more regular use.
