There is a new online Scottish newspaper available, called The Scottish Patriot.

What does this have to do with Celtic music? Well take a look at page 18, where the ticket information about the 14 January 2006 Glasgow Ceilidh is located. They are announcing a new band for this show - Albannach.

And, if you read the entire article, you will see that Albannach was formerly known as Clann an Drumma. There is even a picture of the Albannach band members. With one, notable exception. Joe Kilna Mackenzie is not in that picture.

I was aware that there were a lot of rumors about the band possibly breaking up, but this pretty much puts an end to the rumors...
