more info
allright, more info.. as far as the grooms line.. i have two brother & a good friend, of course me & posibly my 6 year old son as the ring bearer.. i have seen some kilts.. that look like the fabric was made from colored misquito neting.. not a very hearty lookin cloth, & while i plan on going regimental.. i would just as soon have a fabric that if i were to fart, i would not blow the thing right off me.. USAK is a good one? while from what i gather from some of the other posts. sportkits... not so much? yes we would like kits that we could wear out to a famliy rumble.. definatly not one (for now) that is for specail ocations only.. not that there is anything wrong with that.. heaven knows a wedding is a very special occation.. but i would just as soon own a less expencive kilt, that i can feel good about the boold & beer stains on.. & as far as being formal... i am on the more comon side of that mark.. nice new shirt, shiny boots, shave & a haircut.. & i am about as good as i can get, or care to be.
where do i call home? Utah, USA, btw thanks for the warm welcome.
as far as Scotland.. we will get there the 19th of augest & stay for 10 days.. we get into edenburgh & hang out for 4 days .. we plan on going to the tattoo & to the fringe. aslo we have a bus tour to lock Ness 7 around the highlands.. & from there we were planing on heading up towrds abberdeen.. there are some gravestones with our family name on them we would like to see.. & of course the caslte of our clan.. if we can afford it maybe even a nights stay
one other thing wew were thinking about renting a car.. do we need a international drivers permit?
