I am PROUDLY MacBubba 273.

Tom, of Caberdancer is the one who designed the X Marks pin. They are also working on THE official Tatoo magazine/directory for Scotland.

Actually, the number is higher than 700. They are in the process of transforming Macbubba into a VERY SERIOUS cross Scotland and US group. Members include most of the Standing Council of Scottish Chiefs. At the Greenville games (SC), ALL of the nobles on the field were MacBubbas, as were most of the "serious" "old-time" gamers. I wandered the field, but returned to the MacBubba tent. The conversation was between men going to games for 20-30 years, two members of the Scottish Armigers officials (can't recall the official title), several vendors (both with and without booths at games), Beth Gay (geneologist extrodinaire), the toughest man I EVER MET! (Mad Max), and a (real) few nobles.

MacBubba even has the approval of the Queen herself, who owns several of the macBubba shirts, which she wears at her Balmoral estate. They were given to her by her neighbor, Lord Sempill. Now, I'D LOVE TO SEE THAT PICTURE!!!!!!!

MacBubba is listed as one of our OFFICIAL site sponsors:

MacBubba is changing radically into something I am VERY PROUD to be part of. I can't say to much now, but it will involve the many contacts accross the US and Scotland as the most active clan society, and only officially recognized pan-Scottish one. Right now Tom, Becky, and crew are working with the lawyers and relevant officials.

While starting as something "less than totally serious," Clan MacBubba is becoming VERY SERIOUS (but with a witty, fun edge). There is no other clan tent I want to be at. The ones who really know their stuff are usually in the MacBubba tent.

If at any of the same games, I'd highly advise making MacBubba the X Marks gathering place/hang out. If needed/interested-> I'll call them.

If interested in MacBubba, just contact them. Or me. I'll be glad to talk all about it.

MacBubba,
