Boy, am i a beginner!
I have a pending order on Stillwater for a 46 Inch Standard, but now, reading all of these posts, I am re-thinking the size. I seem to measure at 44" before breakfast and a 45" after lunch, so I was thinking that a 46" would be a safe bet to give me some proper overlap and adjusting room. Might I be safer buying a 44" kilt?
Also, as this is the first in what I intend to be a gaggle, stable, harem, pride or whatever the term is for a flocking of kilts, should I perhaps go Economy instead of Standard? I thoroughly intend to wear this to work at AAFES here in Germany, so I want it to look good and be appropriately modest but the total with belt, sporran and so on is hitting $200.
And...what about other kilt makers?
