Christmas has always been commercialised, but it seems to be the older I get the more I notice it. This is the first year I haven't even put up my Christmas lights early (I used to put them up towards the end of Nov.). The whole point of this time of year isn't to buy as much as you can, it's about spending time with your loved ones. If you don't have loved ones, then drink to your little hearts content int: .
The nice thing is I do get excited about Christmas time because of my Children. They are the ones who get excited about the lights, the decorations, the snow, the whole idea of Christmas time. Because of them I get excited for Christmas time.
There is no point in stressing, just enjoy yourself.
