Over the weekend the wife and I stopped in the local kilt shop because we we're in the area. As we browsed tartan scarfs, and wool hats my wife asked if I was really planning to attend a friends wedding next April kilted. My wife has never been too thrilled with my kilt wearing. I explained to her that I had a long conversation with my soon to be married friend about his wedding, and that he wanted me to wear the kilt. At that my wife suggested I get fitted and order a kilt in an tartan to which I have a connection. My wife explained that she felt my kilt wearing was a little "fake" as I wear a SWK Nightstalker, and not a tartan that has some significance to us. She went on to say that she has noticed from strangers reactions that people like to see a man in a kilt, and that if I was to buy a new one she wouldn't mind my wearing it more often. As it is now I only wear my kilt when I'm out with the guys, at a highland games event, or on special occassions.

So, Friday (my next day off) I will be getting fitted, and making a deposit an 8yrd Hunting MacIntosh.
