Five less kilts and the love of my life.
Since my Wife was ill I asked my son David if he would like help me with my Clan Lamont info tent at the Portland Highland games. He said he would love to and he wanted to wear a kilt.
He selected one of my UKs. He enjoyed the kilt, so I gave it to him and has worn it to his work every day.
My wife passed away last Sunday and her funeral mass was yesterday. David came to the house after. I told him if the other four UKs fit he was welcome to have them, so they did and he did.
Elva had been fighting an infection in her arota. It was bleeding so they operated and put in a shunt. Well after three weeks in ICU they decided they had not gotten rid if the infection and was bleeding again, but since she almost died the first time we decided to remove the resperator and she just went to sleep.
I did what Elva would have wanted and I wore a suit and tie to the funeral.
Anyway I lost the love of my life of 28 years but have gained a new kilter. This was not a real fair trade but some good has happened.
