Hi String, it would be nice to garden barefoot, but I grow a lot of cacti, we also have those little swarming ants, so not so easy. I do wear sandals a lot though. Sometime when I'm working on my bonsai, I will bring one inside, guess I could garden barefoot then. I'm still looking for the best kilt to garden in. Probably will end up being the same kind I do ceramics in. Although, I kind of would like to have a belted plaid to garden in during the winter.
