I doubt that an eye could get put out, but I bet it would leave one heck of a shiner on someone! The root-knob at the end is HUGE! LOL

OOOOHHHHH.... I gotta get me one of those. I've contemplated keeping a tire knocker or a mini baseball bat in my trunk, but a man in a kilt weilding a shillelagh would be much more imposing.

It would certainly keep the "HEY, nice dress!!" comments down for sure. It's very heavy and quite well balanced.
The kilt is a hand made tank in Irish National tartan, made by a former X-Marks member, Southern Celt.
