The problem that we are experiencing is that common websites can't be found, but the ISP's own web pages come up fine. It's like the routers that store the IP addresses get flushed and won't deliver up a foreign web page until it gets refreshed. I saw stuff like this back in day when I did production support - nodes on the network recognized each other, but when the IP address cache got flushed, it took a while before it rebuilt itself. Since Adam and I use the same ISP and are experiencing (intermittently) the same phenomenon, I think the problem is not on our end.
