A friendly reminder, the state of things as I see them
When I come to X-Marks the Scot I do so because I enjoy the banter, the camaraderie, the fact that I am not the only man on the planet who
chooses this way to dress. However of late and perhaps this is with my newly acquired moderators not so rose coloured glasses,
there have been posts that generally go against what it is we strive to have in our little corner of the web, that is a forum we can let our children, or our mothers read, some of these the members have not, and will not see.
I'm not sure about the rest of the members but I am proud to call this forum my home on the web, I am proud that with such a large group the problems
are relatively minor. I am also proud that when I am out and someone is looking for more information on kilt wearing I can point them our way without
even thinking that they may find something untoward, or disturbing, frankly there is enough of that all over the web as it is a
respite no matter how brief is indeed welcome.
I have been lucky enough to meet some of the members of the forum, and I hope to be able to meet many more as years go by, however if I were to be crass, or rude when I post here I wonder how many members would be glad to meet me. I've seen it said numerous times before the we are collectively the
Ladies and Gentlemen of X-Marks the Scot, please remember this before you hit the submit button, it is just as easy to hit delete and rethink what you are saying,
I have had to that very thing myself from time to time.
Thank you for your time.
