This sucks. I've been there, and after the last one I spent 9 months basically unemployed and looking. Yes, I substitute taught for a couple of months, but I wouldn't wish that on anybody.

IT is a booming field, how are your computer skills? You can get an MCSA (Microsoft Certified Syatem Administrator) in about 6 months of going to community college if you're interested in computer support and tech in general. An MCSE will take longer, probably 3 quarters of community college work, but commands a slightly higher salary and more admiring glances...
