Looking for a little "peer review" - kilt history
Hello to all,
I've been wearing a kilt to SCA events for about 2 years (since I started) and have gotten to the point that newcomers are asking me about my kit, specifically my kilt (it's a light-weight great-kilt from Celtic Croft, btw) and I put together an email for one newcomer who seemed particularly interested. Now friends are telling me that I should publish this as an article in our local newsletters and I was looking for some review/corrections of the article (some of the stuff in there I've gotten third/fourth-hand and word-of-mouth).
Well, I posted it to the SCA livejournal community and one of the posters there suggested albanach.org which led me here.
This seems like a much better place to ask the favor of some review, so if anyone has the time I would very much appreciate a comment either here or on the Livejournal where I've posted it, http://oscagne.livejournal.com/113111.html.
Thanks in advance, and I'll be hanging around this forum because I love the chance to wear my kilts and am looking for more opportunities to do so.
