Spreading the Sickness -- ummm Goodness
As I've mentioned on other threads, I teach at a Community College in California, USA. On my lecture class days, I wear my kilt (Monday, and Wednesday, and usually Friday). Since I started, I've had one of my students (well, at least a department student whom I know well) has bought a new kilt, and worn it to school a couple of times.
One of the classes I teach requires the students to hand in homework in the software, VectorWorks. To assist students, I have my Wednesday office hours in one of the computer labs. One of the lab regulars (who I don't know, I'm not even sure what his major is), has asked me about my kilts several times.
Well, this week, he told me that he had "just ordered a kilt!" He says it will be a few weeks until it arrives, but he is really excited. I think he got it from frugal kilts (He wasn't sure, but as he was trying to spit out kilt suppliers, they all seemed to revolve around synonyms for inexpensive).
Anyway... I just wanted to let you know, that by just living as a kilted example, I'm encouraging others!
Cheers
Chris
