About 115 miles west of me on the Arizona - Utah border is a place you can buy fresh cheese. Dairy country. Its delicious, unpaturized, and less than half the price of supermarket cheese. Just you have to come and get it.
The roads were clear but the snow was still on the red rocks and around the scrub sage. Cruised through Southern Utah then dropped down to the Arizona Strip...miles of nothing North of the Grand Canyon.
Wore my green argyle with Isle of Skye from Kathy Lare. Stopped a few places to soak it all in. Pipe Springs National Monument is a great stop. Its an old fort built over a natural spring where the pioneers made cheese. Seemed appropriate for a cheese run.
It was still VERY cold though...think the snow threw off the camera brain some. Picked these pics because they show the kilt best. Lovin' the argylls in this weather. Very warm. Had mine made-to-measure since my proportions are not off the rack. The jacket is from Lochcarron.
One of the old outbuildings of the fort.
Pleat shot of the Isle of Skye and the snow left on the red rocks.
Front shot at the catch pond beside the fort. Shirt looks sort of purple, but it isn't. Camera trick, its brownish.
And another pleat shot...I think...or is my kilt on backwards?
