I agree with these sentiments entirely, but I also understand Jamie's angst. Because we so often see the pre-tied bow ties (because so few folks wear a bow tie anymore) we feel funny when a tie we have tied doesn't look perfect. I just started tying my own bow tie and feel the same way.
