Whoo-hoo!
I had my first lesson and it was great!
I had been learning all I could before so there wasn't a lot that was new, but she went over finger positions, and showed me where I was probably not getting on low G just right so that I could watch for that. Showed me how to do G, D, E gracenotes (which I knew) and showed me how to do a birl and how to practice it.
She told me to practice reading and playing the notes at the bottom of page 21 of the Green Book and we will do a lesson every two weeks. Sounds great to me! (and it doesn't hurt that she's bloody gorgeous!)
