Kilts good for busted ribs!
Close to 2 weeks ago we had a nominal snow/ice event here in NC. Nothing new, except I have to at least try to get up and get to work on these nasty mornings. On this particular one the pavement decided to jump up and bite me, and in the process of falling I broke my watch (saved me from breaking my wrist actually) and cracked at least one rib and bruised another, all on my left side. I'm used to being up all the time, lifting stuff, going to the gym, etc. and I haven't been able to do that at all. I'm still in moderate pain after a week and a half, but getting better. Anyway, the one thing that seems to really help support the ribs and makes them feel better is wearing my SWK Black Watch heavyweight! Now if I could only convince the work folks to let me wear it to the office to get me through the workday more easily.
