Clan Tartans: MacNeil, Lamont
In Alba thread and needle are carefully constructing a MacNeil of Barra Ancient of kilt of Alba wool. This will be the Tank that is worn for Clan, and special occasions with all the correct trimmings. At some point in the future one will be constructed in Lamont Ancient. This will also be for the more "traditional" use.
For everyday wear, I have a WPG Gordon, USAK semi-traditional American Heritage (current favourite), SWK Standard Irish National, HoE casual wool County Donegal tartan, Green, black, tan Amerikilts, Black Utilikilt Basic, SWK thrifty Black Watch, Sport Kilt in Air Force tartan, Freedom Kilt Olive colour, and several home sewn in solid colours. I often wear one of the solid colour kilts when I am wearing shirts that have a pattern. The Amerikilts work with shirt and pattern tie, sport coat as business wear.
