I think the preferred term is 'flag retirement' - not 'flag burning'. The former has a positive connotation, the latter is more negative.
(Per the U.S. Code, when a U.S. flag is no longer suitable for display, it should be retired - preferably by burning. Lots to be found on the web about this, so I won't go any further.)
Thanks for the explanation. It thought it was maybe an official clan society burning the flag of some renegade group.
