It might be able to be turned off, but leaving it on has it's benefits.
I use mine to negate shipping on local orders, the only code that actually was used for a Discount was when I made one for a list member that ordered hot sauce from me, ( I made the code XMTS but I just extended that exp date for it until the end of the year, just noticed it had expired..)
Realistically, in the freak chance that Jerry's elves eat a kilt instead of delivering it, the coupon code box can be a very effective way of sending a discount for future orders over doing partial refunds, he might even use it now just as I mostly have mine do, to remove the shipping cost for locals that can pick up their orders instead of having to pay shipping. (Bottles of Hot Sauce can get expensive to ship, especially for just going across town.)
