Stillwater Kilts (SWK) Promo Code?
I know that ScotWeb gives a discount to X-Markers... I was just ordering my BlackWatch HvyWt SWK, and the check-out presents an opportunity to enter a Promo Code... Is there an active one for us there?
I'm sure that I'm getting a great value anyway; but, my Scot's blood is always happy to squeeze more out of any bargain ;-) and shudders at the possibility of missing any discount that may be available.
Cheers!

It's in our blood to be thrifty, but day in and day out, you can't beat Jerry's prices, especially when you consider that you might get your order delivered 10 minutes before you even place it.

Still doesn't change the fact that it is odd to have an 'enter your promo code' box...when rarely (if ever) has there been such a promo code.
that's all.

You don't have to worry about putting in a "promo code" for one of Jerry's kilts - the discount is built into every kilt price.
This has been covered in several other threads:

Here is a suggestion for all of you frugal folks out there. There are websites that collect promotion codes. So, for ANY site that has a 'promo' or coupon code box, do a quick Google search for the company name and "promo code" or "coupon code".
Alas, SWK does not seem to reveal much, but you might be amazed how often this will work!

I don't have any direct experience with ChannelAdvisor (the e-commerce setup SWK uses), but it's possible the service includes the box by default and SWK can't remove it. Some cart solutions don't allow such options to be hidden or removed when they're not being used.
I agree that I think it's odd, but it's possible SWK can't do anything about it.

The promo code box is a tool that Jerry V. as the owner of Stillwater may use or not at his discretion.
To my knowledge he has never offered any special promotions utilizing it, but who knows he just might someday.
So with that thought in mind I wouldn't encourage him to remove it!
Cheers

Hehe... I live for the day! However, I pressed the button on that kilt right after I posted this (the jones was getting the better of me) so now, I just have to wait for the inevitable arrival of my next hit, er, *kilt* ;-) and the sporran I bought to go with it from Oh Susanna Leather... Yes, there will be a review!
