Storage of a seal skin sporran
i`d like to know the best way to store my sealskin sporran
i currently still have it in its original plastic wrapper which is stored in a wooden carry case(old artists paint brush carry case) now do i chuck the plastic wrapper and store it in something cotton for example like a old pillow case or wrap it in a tea towel
or shall i just let it sit without any covering at all in the carry case im also pondering whether to line the case with either leather or suede im unsure of leather with it being able to sweat with heat
the wee case stores my cufflinks ,sgian dubh ,flashes silk tie/hanky and of course the sporran also the sporran chain and well im worried that these items might damage the sealskin or tug the seal hair
please note im in Scotland so any debate about sealskin being wrong can be left out please i merely wish to know how to store a item i wish to keep as mint as possible so i can keep it for life
