I bought some of the Black Watch the other day but returned it upon realising it only weighed in at a whopping 9oz.... *grumble grumble* Also a bit frustrating that the bolt was 43 inches wide; had to buy like I was buying single width knowing I would end up with a LOT of extra fabric from my 8 yarder I had in mind... Oh well!

Hopefully the fabric you bought will come in a bit heavier... I just didn't feel comfortable wearing such a light kilt for my first one...

Did you notice that the Stewert Black had a some metallic thread in it???
