They're bound to be good folks if that's the case!

I have a silver dogwood (state flower) pin that I wear as a kilt pin or plaid brooch, Gen. Newsome is making me a Carolina box-pleat, and you know about my 'coon skin sporran, which not-so-willingly gave its life about 5 miles from my house. My red cable hose were knit from wool grown in the county where my father's family lives (and has lived for several generations), and I'm trying to figure out a way to buy/make a cardinal (state bird) and dogwood pin to wear as a brooch. If I ever get industrious I'm going to carve a sgian handle from black walnut and have a local knife maker fit a blade to it.

By the way, I thought Florida's state bird was the mosquito. My in-laws live in Hawthorne and that's what they say.
