Selkirk Rally is the biggest event of its type in Scotland, with 1,640 exhibits this year. Just inside the entrance I encountered this kilted steward.
The curator of the display of Automobile Association memorabilia was wearing a Black watch kilt.
I met Tom from my Scottish Country Dance class at the tractors section where he was admiring a 1942 Ford Ferguson identical to the first one he drove. He wasn't wearing his kilt but he was wearing a flat cap in Hawick tartan.
I was impressed by this 1974 Atkinson Borderer.
I went to meet some friends on the Toyota cars stand. Here Debbie stands beside her Toyota.

Galashiels ex Service Pipe Band march into the arena to pipe in the cavalcade of Minis to celebrate 50 years of the classic Mini car designed by Alex Isigonis.
The band played on for a time as increasing numbers of Minis began to encircle them but they eventually stopped playing due to the noise and fumes from the cars.
Some of the Minis flew the Saltire.
A final look at those Minis as they continued to drive round and round the pipe band.
