Relevant Latin, for those who might care
Ligaculum – noun: a kilt
derived from
Ligare – verb: to bind, tie, or fasten (as in to put on a kilt)
which gives us
Liga! – imperative command to wear a kilt, may be translated as “Kilt Up!”
Venter Caledonius – noun: haggis
Venter Scotius
Venter Scotus
or
Venter Albanius
(depending on your preferred romantic/poetic name for Scotland)
I am available to translate other things into Latin as well (or at least give it the ol’ prep school try).
