I was standing on a city street, talking to some friends, when a young woman passed behind me and just lifted the back of my kilt and quickly dropped it and kept walking on. I don't think I was regimental, as I've come to the decision not to do so when I have to ride the NYC subway system (don't ask!! ).
I knew she had checked me and run only because I heard a comment behind me just as I felt a rush of cool air in my nether regions, and turned to see the back of her head. I was too stunned to respond immediately, and, since I wasn't regimental, not as concerned as I might have been otherwise, especially in such a public setting.
I did feel battered, though, even if not assualted.
