We here in the USA could learn a lot from our Aussie & Kiwi cousins on how to remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. A mate of mine in Toowoomba back in the late '90s sent me a video of the Brisbane ANZAC Day parade and I was amazed at the turn-out, especially from the younger generations. It was particularly inspiring to see grandchildren marching with their grand-dad's mates in the various unit associations.
I will be sure to remember ANZAC Day today in silent prayer at Mass. And to our Aussie & Kiwi cousins, this Septic simply says: Good on ya.
Lest we forget.
