Any Swiss kilties?
So I went to the grocery store this evening enkilted. Gold Bros Heritage of Ireland, nothing too special. But I had more people approach me than I ever had in one 10-minute encounter.
The first said "Nice skirt!" He quickly followed up what he thought might have been a derogatory remark with "No, really, man, I mean it. I like it."
The second (sitting with the first) exclaimed that he was Irish, too... a Lowe.
The third actually started a conversation about a Highland wedding his best friend had recently been in.
The fourth... the cashier... she asked, "So, are you from Switzerland?"
So got me thinking. Just for the fun of it... where are our members from? I know we have a lot of Scots, British, Americans, Canadians... but any other less commonly kilted areas?
(btw, I gently corrected the lovely lady by telling her whilst I was from Texas, my great grand father was from SCOTland)
