Every time I put on my UKs, a Survivor and a Workman's, I try to find the most efficent way to do up the large V of snaps, ie, starting from the top, starting from the bottom, from one side, from both sides, folding the material, pressing the base of the snap against my leg, etc. So far, it has always been a pain to get done but I suspect I may be missing the trick of the thing. So, if anyone has settled on what they think is the best and most efficent way to go about do the chore, I'd be interested to hear about it.

And don't ask about the 'security closures', I can't do those up even with the kilt off me.
