Of course they had him in the most ill fitting utilikilt he probably owned in the "befores". Can't have him looking like knows what he's doing before hand or we'd see what a sham this fashion "expert" is. Did you notice that all of the afters had them in dress casuals or full dress clothes and all the befores had them in casual "couching" clothes? All of them could have used a little help but ANYONE will look better in a suit than they did in sweats. And the befores were in harsh "white-light" while the afters were in the Oprah studio "Love Lighting" were everyone looks like a million bucks after a few seconds with a makeup artist. I do have to admit that the kiltie's wife look amazing in her after photo. She kind of reminded me of what a politician's wife looks like on the campain trail. Except happy.

There is a decent and "together" way to dress in public and people should take a little time to at least not look filthy or homeless as time and money allow but shows like this put so much emphasis on the outward appearance and how "in" your look is that they tend to ignore the fact that you can look good and have different taste than whatever the latest fashion trend is. Remember, big shoulder pads, stirrup pants, members only jackets, and leisure suits were all brought to us by fashion "experts". That plaid suit on Oprah will fall into that same category in a year and the good ol' tartan kilt will still be around and going strong. Stick with tried and true classics, and you never go wrong.
