I just located the answer to my query stated in my latest post on this thread, as John mentioned, and I wasn't doubting him in the slightest, alcohol is not allowed at General Butler Resort Park in Carrollton. I perused the Kentucky State Parks website, and after a wee bit of digging, I finally found the rules and regulations of the state parks.
Oh well, we will just have to keep our cooler to the confines of our car and enjoy a wee nip in our hotel room in the evening. We plan to stay the night in nearby Carrollton on Saturday and depart Sunday morning...perhaps if others are doing the same we could organize an inpromptu ceilidh? int:
Cheers,
