That is one of my all-time favorite movies, and not just for the funny Scottish humor. It's a great story, great acting, and overall I think it's one of Mike Myers' best works.
(Not to mention it has Nancy Travis in it... rowr!)

That's awsome! I kept meaning to ask you that!
And Tobus, I agree completely. About it being one of Myers best and about Nancy Travis.

Don't forget the Scottish national martial art.
Great film. Seen it several times and always enjoy it. I rank it right up there with John Wayne's "MacLintock". Always good for a laugh.
I wish I believed in reincarnation. Where's Charles Martel when you need him?

"It involves alot of head butting and kicking people while they're on the ground."

And Vmac...I believe someone else discovered that it was the Dundee District Tartan.

Well, if he remembers after all this time, I can ask the piper (Jek Cunningham) at the next Saint Andrew's Society of San Francisco monthly meeting. He's the Society's piper, and begins each meeting with a few minutes of music. Simple solution!
Love that movie. I think it's much better than Myers' later "Austin Powers" films. As for Dunsmuir House, I really miss the annual Games there every July, wish they hadn't dropped them. . .
