How did you do the scallops?
Is that a tailcoat hiding in the back? Im after a 44L one on those if you see any in your travels...

How did I do the scallops? Well, there was a bit of math and science involved. What I did was draw out half on one side of paper, fold it, and then cut it. (paperdoll style) Marked that pattern on the material and cut out about 1/4" bigger. Then, the math and science. I added 8 parts vodka to 1 part olive brine and 0.5 parts vermouth. This provided a necessary chemical reaction. Then I carefully folded the edges under, making a few relief cuts, while ironing them out. The lapels had stitching on the edges so I ran the flaps through the sewing machine to sew down the edges. That's it.
No, it is a waist length one. I've been searching everywhere for a full dress tailcoat. If I find one in your size I'll pick it up for you. a couple weeks ago I found one in my size with green satin lapels (would have been awesome with black watch) but instead of grabbing it, I came home to think about it for a few hours. Too late.
