Things at "Scarf HQ" must be a bit fraught, the staff are just beginning to worry, extra cups of tea all round, Derek may have to go for a stroll. Not down a cave Derek! You know that is a tad hazardous! As they say, remember that stiff upper lip----keep calm and carry on----and err all that!

I have been reliably informed that it will arrive either tomorrow or on Friday at it's next destination. I did not get a chance to post the pics last night but will get it done tonite. Need to make sure they are up before the first ones from the next visit.

Thanks once again Jock for thinking of my welfare at Scarf HQ, I took your advice and had a nice relax with a cuppa and then decided to take my mind of things scarfy and check out a recipe book or two and do a bit of cooking.

Looking forward to seeing the latest batch of pics and looking forward the finding out who the new host if going to be ...

I know Cheryl Cole got booted off American Idol for her Geordie accent, but on American television the accents from your side of the pond are often considered attractive. Jackie Stewart impersonations from racing telecasts come immediately to mind.

With the interest in reality TV, there may be opportunity here (I live close to Hollywood) for "The Kilted Chef" or "Cilted in the Kitchen With Derek"...just make sure to have some lines to stir controversy or gossip to intermix with the cooking...

Sorry, I didn't get them out last night but here are a few with a couple more this evening.

This is from Sunday right after we went to a movie in Arvada, CO. The sky was great but by the time we got to the car and got out the scarf and camera..well, not so great.

We stopped by a war memorial in Westminster, CO. This is for all the wars the US has been involved in during the 1900's to now. Individuals will purchase a brick to be engraved with the name, service and rank of a family member that participated. Many of them did survive the war but have since passed on.

This is a view of downtown Denver from approximatly 80 blocks north. We tried to get the mountains to the south included but don't think they came out very well. If you can see it, the largest is Pikes Peak which is about two hours drive south in the Colorado Springs area.
