Have a word with Artificer (Scott) here on XMarks by PM and see if he can create a leather cantle. It would civilianise your military sporran nicely.

Chances are that a cantle bought elswhere will not fit the intended sporran. Sporrans are made around the cantle, and not vice versa. I think I may go that route English Bloke. I really like the sporrans he has created. Would love to get something really unique made up!

MOD is the UK Ministry of Defence. If you check out Bugpipers site on EBay you will see tons of ex MOD sporrans he has for sale, also for cantles you can check with Bryce at UT kilts (USA site)
