I don't know the answer to your question, but I do have an observation: I hate having the "pass through" for the sporran strap too low, as it causes the entire sporran to hang almost on its face as it were. I therefore prefer the pass through to be fairly high.

I agree. This is the ONLY thing I don't like quite so much about the Stillwater Cargo Sporrans: The loop on the back is in my opinion just a little lower than it should be.

Not to be critical of a fine product, but that's exactly the one I had in mind with that post. I may take it off and move it.
