They're brand new Ginger so should be more info coming soon, Dave who runs the sandbaggers site organises a desert race out in the mongolian gobi every year so I think thats what he's on about.

Good news, X-Markers!! I just got a response from Mary @ Mountain Hardwear, and she said the Elkommando will be back in stock for Spring 2012 in stores and online.

Great news.
I do "choose" other kilts, but the Elk is one that I most often "reach for" in Summer.

They are great for summer. I have an 'original' Mountain Hardware kilt that is just the thing for lawn mowing and the like, and the Elk is even better.
