Jock's suggestion about checking with a military tailor ought to yield good results. You might want to check with my tailor, Meyer & Mortimer, in London. Ring them up and ask to speak with Mr. Munday.
I have a wonderful old doublet with spherical buttons like those in the pic, made of silver. Very nice.
