Thanks, Rocky! Yes, the tweed is beautiful. I will order mine in the style of my Kinloch-Anderson tweed jackets, no epaulettes, Crail cuffs with 3 buttons, regular pocket flaps, 2 button front, and regular "welt" style pockets on the waistcoat - no 3-button pocket flaps. I prefer to keep my tweed hill-jackets as simple as possible, and leave the braid, epaulettes, gauntlet cuffs, and additional buttons for evening attire.
Cheers,
Just note all that in the "Special Shipping Instruction on the order and we'll be happy to have it made to those specs.
That looks great! I really like the colors and patterning in the poacher tweed
Me too! I was in my neighborhood Brooks Brothers store today and was perusing through their latest tweed blazer collection for fall and winter, all the while I was envisioning how these gorgeous tweeds would look in the style and cut of a hill jacket for Highland day attire! See how my mind wanders?! I am obsessed...in a very, very good way!
