Yes, The Wizard made my outfit. I was obviously one of the more conservatively dressed individuals -- some people thought I was one of the Castle/museum staff. What was so funny, was that the Castle was also visited during the Steampunk event by tourists off the cruise ships. They were rather bemused by everything that was going on around them. One lovely couple fresh off the boat asked if people in Victoria always dressed this way. How does one answer that with a straight face?

There were several inidviduals in kilts -- we just did not get photos of them. Guess we were too busy enjoying ourselves!

I will be attending the Headless Horseman's Ball at Rock Ford Plantation here in Lancaster, Pennsylvania at the end of October and I put together a steampunk outfit using my UK Workman kilt.

As an interesting side note, and a shameless plug here, our local bookstore had a display of novels and other books in the steampunk theme.
I was looking through one of them (which ,by the way, Bobbie had already purchased when she visited the table ten minutes earlier, I just didn't know yet,) and what to my surprise do you thing I found?

In the book "1000 Steampunk Creations", which I quote from in the first post to this thread, on page 178, there is a photo of a wonderful steampunk inspired kilt. By our own Regina Davan of Alt-Kilt. Congratulation Regina, way to go!
