Paul, I note with interest that many-----some?----- of the kilts that you so skillfully make are to a two hundred plus year old basic design, so not all things that are "old" have been superseded either! LOL
I am all for changes for the better and in conjunction with changes for the sake of change and changes for the worse should all be studied closely by interested parties and fairly judged and an opinion is thought, or, offered as is every one's right so to do. Whether we are talking about ballistics, jet engines, tractors, sewing machines, kilt attire, or anything else. Nothing wrong in that and as you say these discussions a rather more immediate these days.
