Re: Welsh Rugby Scarf Travel Log in Pictures

Well the Scarf didn't want to have a rest after it's travel across the Pacific, so after a cup of tea, it was out and about to see some nature. The Scarf had heard about the Quaich's trip to a certain park and it wanted to go too.

    And the other side

Then onto the Cranbourne Botanic Gardens for a bit of get back to the dreamtime

These are grass trees, indigenous to Australia and can survive bushfires remarkably well, They do however take several hundred years to grow to this height. The scarf wanted a closer look, so it did

Adjacent to the botanical gardens is the Cranbourne Race Track, so where do you think the scarf wanted to go next.

Not that there were any races on but the scarf wanted it's chance to be on the bookies board.

    That's it for the day.

The grass trees are very interesting, amazing how long it takes for them to grow to that size.

This is great news that the scarf is well en route on its circumnavigation of the world.
What a fab set of pics Downunder. Thanks!
Jock ... You gave away a few secrets about scarf hq a few posts ago, but that seems nothing compared to this establishment from where the scarf was sent over the Pacific.

I think they have a Transporter Room.
I didnt expect to see the scarf so quickly, knowing the distance it was next heading.
Great though. Thanks Steve for speedy send off to Downunder.
Looking forward to the scarfs continuing journey.
Thanks again from me and the mrs (pictured in the scarfs out of town office)

Wow, I can't believe the scarf has made its way to Downunder so quickly after the ordeal it had crossing the border from the US into Canada. This is great news for the completion of its journey. BTW great photos from Australia!

I have just returned from meeting up with Downunder Kilt and having photos taken with the scarf. It has brought typical Welsh weather with it! (Derek will know exactly what I mean).

I'm sure photos will appear very soon...
